How StopStamp handles your data.

Effective date: November 3, 2026

StopStamp is an offline service-call time-tracking app. The app stores customer/job names, job-site addresses you type, timestamps, work descriptions, and notes locally within your iPhone's app storage.

Information we receive

In this version, StopStamp does not send service-call records, device information, or usage analytics to us or to our servers. It does not require an account, request access to your location, or show ads. We do not collect your service-call records through the app.

Backups and exports

You may choose to export JSON backups and Excel reports using Apple's share sheet, or import backups from the Files app. If you share files with another person or a third-party service, their handling of that information is outside StopStamp's control.

Data storage and deletion

Entries are kept locally in the iOS app sandbox. Apple's device backup and sync services, if enabled by you, may include app data according to your iOS settings and Apple's policies. Removing StopStamp may remove your stored data; export a backup first.
